Visit from the past

My childhood friend came back home for a visit (back in July 2011).  It was great, it was just like old times. :) I got to practice doing her nails, while we caught up and had our girl talk.  My husband was nowhere to be found at this point. Haha

She had me try the new China Glaze "Black Mesh" crackle nail polish on her toe nails.  And the new LE P2 gel polish in "Cranberry Ice" on her finger nails.

She is such a great friend of mine, and she's one of my star cheerleaders in my support group.  No matter what it is, that I choose to do, she always has nothing but good things to say. She's a great person, always encourages me in everything I do, and she never judges me. She was even sweet enough to pick up this cute collection of scented nail polishes for me, when she was gone to LA on vacation.  I use to LOVE these candies when I was a kid.  And now they have nail polish made after it!  The colours are all SO bright, PERFECT for summer time!!  And not only that...they are scented! It's so awesome she thought of me, when she saw them; and actually bought the set for me!  She's so thoughtful and so supportive of me, all the way!  She didn't have to, but she chose to get these for me on HER vacation!  What a sweetheart!  She's always thinking of others no matter where she's at!

So my lesson today is, when you DO find those real/true friends. You know, the ones that will always be there for you, through the hardships and happy moments, do not let them go.  Only surround yourself with good and positive energy.  And cut out the negative energy.  Remember, you're only as strong as your weakest link. Plus, its better for your health and well being.
