eBay items and seller reveiws!

OMG! Ok, I know this review is late to follow my eBay post back in January...so sorry about that.  But I am posting it now, finally.  So, here is my reveiw post on the 4 ebay sellers I dealt with back in August.  If you don't remember the seller's names they were:  1. newkitty1116, 2. tamanala, 3. tomtop_auction, and 4. onexshop.

So I will start with
1. "new kitty1116" review on Item #1:  Nail art display stand.
Received Date:  September 27, 2011
Thoughts:  This item took over a month to get.  I contacted the seller at the 3 week 3 day mark.  And they got back to me right away (next day). They explained that there were some delay issues with the customs.  But if I wanted, they would refund me for the time being.  And once I received my item, they would charge me for the item again.  It was nice enough, that they were so quick to offer a refund.  So I told them I would wait another week or so, before contacting them again.  If I still didn't receive this item.
So, just over 1 week later.  I finally received this item, yay!  So luckily I didn't have to contact them again, for a refund.  Even though this item seemed to have gotten "lost" in the mail.  I only state that it got "lost" in the mail, because it took over 1 month and 2 weeks before I received it.  BUT, because of this seller and the customer service provided, I would still give this seller a positive review.  She was VERY quick with responding back to me with suggested solutions.  No hesitation with giving me a refund until the item made its way to me.  Very trust worthy ebayer, and so easy and nice to work with.  As for the product itself.  I am happy with the over all item.  The description is true to what it states on ebay.  But the only thing that is kind of a pain, is that the nail display sticks don't all fit nicely into the holes provided in the display stand.  I'm going to have to make the holes a bit larger by using a drill.  I would estimate about half or 2/3rds of the holes need to be bigger.  Or the sticks need to be skinner.  But I can't shave the sticks.  Drilling would be the quick fix/easy solution to my problem. ;)

Item 2:  100 nail art orange wood stick
Received Date:  September 1, 2011
Thoughts:  This item took quite a while to make its way to me, in Canada.  It came packaged in a paper envelope, since the item was so light and small.  But, the item was actually missing 25 wood sticks.  Maybe that's why the package was so light...Haha  I only received 75 wood sticks out of 100.  So I had to contact the seller and notify them that I was missing 25 wood sticks.  The customer service was great.  They emailed me back the next day, saying that they will send me the remaining 25 wood sticks that were missing.  I got a confirmation email, saying that they have shipped my 25 missing orange wood sticks with in the next day.  Great seller, quick on the reply button!  This seller was a pleasure to do business with.  I think I will definitely be dealing with them again.  Even though they took a little longer on delivery.  But, because of the great customer service, I would still deal with them in the near future.

2. "tamanala" review on the purple manicure soaking bowls.
Received Date:  August 29, 2011
Thoughts:  This item was ordered almost a week after I placed my order with "newkitty1116".  And I received this item 3 days before my order made with "newkitty1116"!  Their shipping is WAY faster then "newkitty1116".  I would definitely deal with this seller again and again, because of the fast shipping!  The packaging was pretty straight forward.  Item was sent in a paper envelope with bubble wrap, wrapped around the two bowls, enough were there was no damage to them.  So no complaints with their transportation techniques.  I didn't have to deal with the customer service, so I can't really rate them for that.  But just seeing how fast they were with shipping and what not.  I don't think they would be a difficult seller to deal with, if I had to contact them for customer service.

3. "tomtop_auction" review on the 180 eyeshadow palette
Received Date:  September 6
Thoughts:  When I placed this order with "tomtop_auction".  I added a message asking them to make sure they use EXTRA bubble wrap when shipping this item out to me.  I thought, since I added this extra message/note to the seller.  They would respect my request and grant it.  Since I am paying for the thing, right!?   WRONG!  This item came with one long sheet of bubble wrap, wrapped around the item which was in the original manufacture paper box.  I knew it was bad news right when I saw the wimpy envelope package waiting for me on my desk.  Sure enough, as I slowly opened the envelope.  And unwrapped the single sheet of bubble wrap.  It was bad news.  Eyeshadow powder tinting the bubble wrap along with the manufacture box.  While a rainbow of coloured powders, dusted the surface of the makeup case. After doing the unwrapping of this product.  My hands were FULL of eyeshadow dust.  But I included photos to show you my unveiling of this item, and what I sadly found...The only part that wasn't damaged in this package was the bottom eyeshadow palettes.:
Stingy uses of bubble wrap
Wimpy envelope

Right corner of makeup case broken off....
so depressing. -_-#

Makeup case removed from box

Close up of top right eyeshadows damaged.
Close up of top eyeshadows on the left damaged & the catch lock latch broken as well.

Lower level eyeshadows on the left damaged.
Close up of lower level eyeshadows damaged

Close up of right side top & lower eyeshadows w/ broken housing.

Both top eyeshadow palette shelves/housings broken off main makeup case. They're suppose to slide out to the sides so that you have easy access to the very bottom eyeshadow palette.  Mine just comes out/falls out. D':

My final thoughts on this item and ebay seller is:  Even though the item did come broken in MANY ways... The shadows were easy enough to repair, where I can still use them.  I was wanting to return the item and just get my money back.  But then, I would've had to deal with the mess of paying for the return charges and what not.  And by the time I did finally receive this item.  I checked on ebay, and the prices for this item jumped and doubled in price!  So I thought instead of dealing with that mess.  I would keep this item and deal with the broken makeup case. :(  The seller was easy enough to work with. I contacted them immediately after receiving the damaged goods. Explained to them what I found and they had me send them photos of the damaged item.  And they offered to give me a $5.00 refund for the damage and trouble.  So I thought, why not?  I got this item for cheaper then what you can get it for now.  And like I said earlier, they are repairable.  I must admit, that was probably one of the smartest choices.  The colours are AMAZING!  I was aware before, that these colours are so vibrant.  But seeing it in person.  The pigmentation of these eyeshadows are beyond awesome!  I'm so glad I took the refund, and kept this item in the end. :)  I think I will definitely order this again.  But to be honest, probably not from the same seller.  Only because I know how they package this item, and guaranteed it will come broken again.  So if you are considering ordering this item. Make sure you contact the seller and ask them how they ship it.  Ask if they ship it in a box or in an envelope.  And if they answer envelope.  Look for someone that ships in a box!

4. "onexshop" review in the 60 pair false lashes
Received Date:  September 9, 2011
Thoughts:  There was no disappointment with the delivery of this item.  I was quite happy when I received it.  Item came in the mail, packaged in a regular delivery envelope, simple.  I have no complaints, but one.  A couple of the false lash boxes were crunched a little bit, from the elastic bands they used to hold the 6 boxes together; along with securing the package foam wrap around the boxes.  BUT, the false lashes themselves were still in perfect condition!  So is it really worth complaining about, a couple squished boxes...? No, I don't think so.  I would definitely recommend this seller to anyone and everyone.  If you are wanting to order a nice haul of assorted false lashes.  This is the seller to buy from. I found that they had the most reasonable price out there, for 60 pairs of assorted false lashes, long, thick, and dramatic.

Final thoughts:  These lashes are like any other false lashes.  Although the quality isn't as good as lashes made by "Ardell", "Darkness", "Sugar", etc.  But for the price and the quantity, its worth it!

Prismatic Fanatic!

OMG!  So I found and purchased China Glazes new Prismatic Collection.  And I love, love, LOVE it!!  There are 6 gorgeous colours that come in this collection.  I have only tested out one colour so far.  And I gotta say, it turned out A-MAZING!!  I will do a full colour collection swatch, to showcase all the colours for you.  I only did a couple colour swatches on my nails for now.  But they need a break to rest/breath.  So I am waiting for my nail plate wheels to come in, which I ordered off eBay about 2 weeks ago.  So once those come in, I will do swatches on the rest of the colours and give you an update.  So stay tuned.

These polishes are so fun and FULL of rainbow glitter.  Each colour has its main undertone colour, mixed with rainbow glitter. Which gives this polish an AWESOME sparkle. >_<  I have always been a glitter girl.  And this collection is the perfect addition to my accessories and wardrobe!  They look great over other regular nail polish colours too.  So if you are needing a pick me up, with your existing nail polish colours.  This is the perfect way to add a little "nail-lift"! ;)  Make any old nail polish colour seem brand new again!  But because this polish is jam packed with glitter, I think one coat over a regular polish is enough. You don't want to over polish the bottom colour, where you can't even see it though the prismatic polish. ;)

Mark-O? Polo! I found Nfu-Oh Holos!!!

OMG, I am so excited.  I just HAD to share with everyone.  I have found Nfu-Oh's FULL holo collection!!!!  I have been trying to get China Glaze's Kaleidoscope collection and OPI's DS Holographic collection.  But THOSE are UNBELIEVABLY expensive and extremely hard to find/get.  Yes, eBay does have some colours of China Glaze's Kaleidoscope collection and OPI's DS collection available.  But, at this moment in time.  I find that it was too rich for my blood. lol  But I know that Nfu-Oh's Holo polish effect is just as good, or maybe even better...?  I guess it all depends on your taste in how much holo over glitter effect you want on your nails.  I right now, prefer the more holographic effect.  Because not many polishes out there have this unique effect.  Compared to glitter polishes, which are EVERYWHERE!  Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my glitter.  I am a total glitter girl.  But I don't have any holo polishes.  And I figured, if I'm buying a holographic nail polish, it better be CRAZY holo over glitter.  Plus, it is GREAT for the spring/summer sun to show off how awesome this polish is.  But!  If I am looking for a glitter polish, it best be glitter over kill. ;)  For that effect, I got the China Glaze Prismatic collection, for that very glittery reason.  And Nfu-Oh's Holo collection for the holographic effect.  So check out both posts, if you are interested!  I didn't get to do actual swatches of all 6 colours.  But I will in the near future.  I just had to post this up as soon as I received this shipment!

Update:  When I painted my nails for the first time with Nfu-Oh's Holo nail polish (without the Nfu-Oh "Aqua Base").  I used OPI's base coat just to see what would happen.  It was pretty difficult to get the polish to properly cover my complete nail.  There were gaps and spaces between the painted lines.  Even though I went OVER the spots that I could see I missed, there were other gaps and spaces that showed up. Ack  I took a few pictures to give you a visual, but it's kinda hard to see in the photos.  But hey, I tired. ;) (Need a new camera...)

So, once I find and purchased Nfu-Oh's special "Aqua Base" polish, specially made for their holo collecting for this very reason.  I will report back, with images!
