Talk about Chick Magnet, have you seen one of the latest nail polish creations!? I know that Revlon did come out with a magnetic nail polish back in the 1990s. But it has come back, with a vengeance.Muahaha It has really growing into something this time. You can find magnetic nail polish made by main different brands. The more known nail polish companies that make this polish effect include: China Glaze, LCN, Nails Inc., Seventeen, and the list goes on. But not everyone wants to spend a high price for nail polish. I know I don't. Hahaha Don't get me wrong, I will spend extra $ on nail polishes like OPI & China Glaze sometimes. But come on, if you can find the same polish for less...why not!?!
And just our luck, with this magnetic nail polish! There are other companies out there, that have come out with the same magnetic nail polish effect for much less. Yay! You can find some great magnetic nail polish online, one website in particular would be: EBAY, of course! ;) This is where I purchased mine. And I honestly can tell you, there is no difference in the magnet effect. It does take some getting use to. Because in order to get the proper effect in the nail polish. You have to make sure you apply a decent amount of the polish to your nails. And you have to do one nail at at time. I found, when applying this polish, the top layer needs not be, too thin. The thinner the coat the quicker the polish will dry. Therefore, giving the magnet less time to penetrat through the nail polish properly. Causing the design to not show up at all. And if the top coat is too thick. It becomes harder for the magnet, to work through ALL that polish. I usually hold the magnet over the nail polish for about 15-20secs/nail. And a good little secret that I discovered using this, is to hold the magnet as close to the nail polish as possible (without smudging your polish on it, of course). It makes the design stand out more! It seems to work best for me. I think that this polish works just as good as the "higher end" polishes.

The only difference and best difference, (might I add) is how much CHEAPER it is! I bought 12 colours along with 3 different magnet designs for under...wait for it...$30 off eBay!!! Compared to, if you were to buy just one bottle of Nail Inc's magnetic nail polish at Sephora, it can cost up to $20! So, you do the math. Who's getting the bigger bang for their buck? Does it really matter about the name brand? I don't really think so. But, if you like your name brand polishes, by all means, go for it. :) But, I'm just here to shed some light and to tell you, that the name doesn't always mean it's the best of the best...;) And this magnet nail polish trend seems to be growing rapidly as we speak. There are TONS of new nail polish brands out there, coming out with this technique. I guarantee, if you buy this polish weather it be, China glaze, LCN, CH Nail, Essence, etc. You will not regret it!
