I hear wedding bells!!

So, I just picked up my bridesmaid dress from the seamstress over the weekend (July 25, 2011).  And the dress fits like a glove!  Please note, the girl in the photo wearing the dress is not me.lol  It's a photo from the store, where I bought the dress.  I wish that was me! Ha

I can't wait until the big day, where one of my best friends will be marrying her best friend.  For her big day, I ended up using the LE P2 gel nail polish in the colour called "Uptown Girl" on my finger nails.

Along with my new Dashing Diva nail kit.  I LOVED the end result with the french tips, it turned out great!

And for my toe nails, I ended up combining two of the LE P2 gel polish colours:  Wicked (brown/orange tinge) and Guilty Pleasure (white pearl).

And just for a little extra touch of me, I added a cute little nail art stamp on the one corner of each of my big toe nails.

I remember when I was blessed 2 years ago, marrying my best friend.  It was one of the happiest days for me.  So, I know my best friend and new hubby will be so happy together.  Especially once the wedding is all over, and all is said and done!  I know that's how I was, after the wedding was over.LOL  Don't get me wrong, our wedding day was one of the happiest days of our lives.  But the second happiest day, was the day after the wedding. Hahaha  Relax time, that's ALWAYS the best thing after a big event!  Just knowing, that we didn't have to do anymore planning.  And we could finally get on with our normal life together.  And now, since my friends wedding is around the corner.  It is getting to be crunch time.  And I know that, that is probably one of the worst times in planning a wedding.  Because the stresses of:  "Is this done, is that done, are these people going to remember to do this and that, did I forget to do anything...?", and the list goes on.  Plus, it is a little more difficult when the couple doesn't live in the city they are having to plan their wedding in!   But she has been doing a great job so far.  She flies out here on Friday with her fiancé!  Then her bridal shower will take place on the following Sunday.  After that, her stagette is on Wednesday, then it's the rehearsal dinner on Thursday, and then on Friday we have to decorate the reception hall the day before the BIG DAY!!  And then Saturday August 6, 2011; my best friend will be getting married!!!  I just wanted to say in advance to my best friend and her soon to be hubby:  "Congrats you guys!  You make a great combination. ;)"  Married life is another journey in life you will have fun taking.  And the best part is, at least this time you're not going though this journey alone.  You will be experiencing everything together as one.  Take the time to stop and sight see on your journey, no need to rush though life.  Just be grateful for everyday you get to spend together.  Never take your time together for granted.  Enjoy today, because no one knows if tomorrow will come.  The past is history. The future is a mystery. Today is a gift, that's why it's called the present.  Congratulations you two!  I wish you all the best!
